Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu

Season 1: Rise of the Snakes Ninjago is one of my favorite TV show (in case you haven’t noticed, I love kid’s shows)! I am so attached to the characters. I only like the first two seasons, though, and have to adapt all further seasons to meet my liking. Subject As most stories are, this one is intriguing and full of promise. It is very rare for artists to create a bad story, actually, but if they do, critics are there to rat on them! Basic synopsis: Four elementally powered ninja trained in the martial art of Spinjitzu protect the world of Ninjago from … Continue reading Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu

Dagur (Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge)

Dagur the Deranged of the Berserker Tribe is one of the best characters in Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge. The best part about him? He understands Hiccup’s inferiority. Dagur is the comic relief villain long-lost sibling crazy guy. Despite how the other characters don’t trust or understand him, Dagur is truly shown to be caring, loyal, and the only one in the show with consistent common sense. Dagur is caring–that’s not a statement any characters in the show would make, not in their sane minds, anyway. It is understandable; Dagur portrays himself as a bloodthirsty, merciless villain. It is … Continue reading Dagur (Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge)

Young Justice: Invasion

Young Justice: Invasion is the second and last season of the TV show based on DC superhero sidekicks. There are new starred sidekicks since the first season, including Blue Beetle, Wonder Girl, Batgirl, Tim Drake as Robin, Lagoon Boy, Beast Boy, and Impulse, or Kid Flash (Bart Allen). It aired in 2012, but I watched it more recently on Netflix. I liked the second season, but not as much as the first. The fact that it takes place five years later than the end of the first season was a bummer for me. In fact, I didn’t watch it for … Continue reading Young Justice: Invasion

Battlebots Season 2 – Tombstone

Battlebots is a robot fighting competition. 2016’s champ, Ray Billings, described it with the statement, “We get together every year and we break each other’s toys.” The first season on ABC started with 24 bots in the qualifying round. This year, that number was bumped up to 48 for even more fun and destruction. I’m sure somebody will wonder why I put those two words separately. This post will focus on the 2016 champion robot Tombstone and its fights. The No. 1 seed this season (and last season) is Tombstone. Tombstone’s builder is Ray Billings, the guy on the right … Continue reading Battlebots Season 2 – Tombstone
